Personal Contributions

For this project, my two main focuses were the environment and simulation. I designed the initial layout and modeled and surfaced the island. Additionally, I did the sand simulations in the two close up shots.

The first video walks through how I completed the foot simulation for both sand simulation shots while the second walks through how I placed static sand around the rest of the scene. In both cases I used ray casting to delete any sand particles that weren't visible to camera in order to reduce file size.
